Welcome to American National Notary Association (“ANNA”)! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our online notary public course (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
By registering for and purchasing our online course, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
By enrolling, you represent that you meet these requirements. Please note that as of 2021, ANNA only offers notary public education for Californians aspiring to become notary publics.
2. Account Creation
To access the course materials, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
3. Course Materials
The course content, including videos, text, quizzes, and other materials, is for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:
- Share, copy, distribute, or modify the materials.
- Use the content for purposes outside the scope of this Service.
All materials are owned by ANNA and protected by intellectual property laws.
4. Payment and Refunds
- Fees: Access to the Service requires payment of the course fee as specified on our website.
- Refund Policy: The course is 100% refundable! However, no refunds will be issued:
- After 30 days.
- Once the proof of completion has been created.
All payments are processed securely. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.
5. Certification Requirements
To earn a certificate of completion, you must:
- Complete all course modules and quizzes.
- Meet the passing criteria specified within the course.
The certificate does not guarantee state licensure or qualification. It is your responsibility to meet California-specific notary public requirements. Our course is approved by the California Secretary of State.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purposes.
- Engage in behavior that disrupts or harms the Service or other users.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service’s platform or materials.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. No refunds will be provided for terminations due to violations.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ANNA is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California.
